A full custom Brooks Saddlery FQHB saddle that has been thoroughly detailed, oiled, and is ready to ride! Although Barry Brooks is no longer around, I knew him, and can vouch for the high quality of his saddles! This one has all the added D-rings for breast collar setup, and saddle bags, or britchen, and even has a rope strap on the pommel for your lariat.
Seat size: 15.5" super comfortable deep seat with rawhide pencil roll
Tree size: ~7" double-reinforced fiberglass wrapped wooden FQHB tree with added flare in the front for a horse with larger/ more progressive shoulders. It fits almost like a gaited saddle (curvy), and would not work for a straight-backed horse.
90-degree angle to the gullet
125-degree angle to the mid-back
140-degree angle to the loin area
Total saddle length: 29" w/ round butterfly skirt. The bottom skirt is cut in a "V" at the back, to allow a horse full range of motion in the loin, without the leather ties that have a tendency to dig into the lumbar spine. I hate those!
Color: Medium brown with accordion border tooling.
Weight: 37 lbs with breast collarRigging: 7/8ths flat plate
Saddle number: 1179
